Construction for the beautiful landmark building that has become The Julia Morgan Center for the Arts was completed in 1910. This was among Julia Morgan's first major commissions, and was followed by hundreds, as she set up her practice as the first female architect in the Bay Area. As an Art Center for the community, the building has become a home to artists and an inviting venue for patrons to experience a vast array of quality entertainment.
