Build rehearsal and performance skills in this dynamic and invigorating class designed to help you achieve a higher level of connection, specificity and creative choice. Working on improvisation skills, partner work, script analysis, monologues and scenes, this class will focus on an in-depth study of several aspects of the actor's process: Grounding, imagination, characterization and trust.

Creative Drama

(ages 4-6)

Course fee: $80.00

Use your voice and body to create wonderful imaginary worlds with original characters, settings and stories. Music, visual art, costumes and props help you explore ideas, feelings, and characters while you develop physical and vocal skills. This is the opportunity to make theater as an art form as well as a natural extension of creative play and imaginative life. Our work is centered on improvisation, the joy of self-expression (as well as creative risk) and fun!

Theaterplay

Learn what it takes to feel at home on the stage through this fun immersion into the world of the theater artist! Begin building your theatrical tool box through our exploration of improvisation, listening, focus, partner work, character development, and more. Acting is one of the most thrilling and challenging adventures you can take. Come join our ensemble on this journey of creative self-expression, community-building, imagination and trust.
