THE WORK OF BYRON KATIE FOUNDATION

The work of Byron Katie is a simple process of self-discovery. The process teaches us how to meet our thinking and therefore our entire lives with clarity, love and understanding. It is a sure way out of the experience of confusion and a step into the experience of true internal peace. On the other side of fear, frustration, and misunderstanding is the quiet peace and freedom patiently awaiting our return.

DEL SOL STRING QUARTET
With Eva-Maria Zimmermann, Piano, and Heidi Indermuhle, Flute

The Del Sol String Quartet will be joined by Swiss musicians Eva-Maria Zimmermann (piano) and Heidi Indermuhle (flute) to present an evening of music by composer Willy Burkhard (1900-1955). Along with Arthur Honegger and Frank Martin, Burkhard is one of the most important composers to come out of Switzerland last century. He is most well-known for his beautiful and lyrical choral music and would have celebrated his 100th birthday this year. Through a wonderful array of diverse chamber pieces, our trans-Atlantic colaborators will give the audience a rare opportunity to experience the range of Burkhard's compositional style.
